Tanzila Hoque in social platform she is known as Joyita Chowdhury is having 12 years of significant experience working with special children, vulnerable woman and persons with disability. Basically she is a learned in legal platform. Besides she is an active voluntary social activist. She is active meber of the Commonwealth Youth forum and she has participated latest Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in London as honorable national delegate from Bangladesh. Also she is working for the corporate skill development in which she is providing job oriented skills to the youth generation of Bangladesh so that they can compete in current corporate life
She has volunteered as a teacher’s aide at the Autism Welfare Foundation and been promoted to Senior Teachers In charge lately. She enjoyed being able to help kindergarteners learn during their first experience in a class room. In this position, she assisted with classroom projects, provided one-on-one literacy tutoring to the special children, and chaperoned field trips.
She worked there from 2007 to 2012. Having completed her graduation in Law and studying in Master she was working in a NGO which was responsible to develop solar electricity system to rural areas of the country. Here she was entitled as a Legal Advisor (Part Time) and her duty was to develop HR policy for the company. She worked there from Jan, 2012- Dec, 2012.
Later on she joined as Advocacy Officer in Work for a Better Bangladesh (WBB Trust) in 2014. There she was responsible to advocate national problems through various media like social
media, TV, Radio and national- International conferences. She has significant experience of working on Gender, Health, Tobacco control, SDG etc.
Afterwards she joined with Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST) since 2016. She was entitled as Paralegal and been promoted to mediation officer in January 2017. Her duty there was to serve those woman and child who are victim of rape, dowry or unnecessarily abused by their husbands. She provide them legal awareness and the way how they can get legal support for their situation. She was involved in various awareness building activity with a vast number of slum people.
She is always looking for opportunity to work on Youth, Gender equality Health Rights and Autism. Her dedication to work for the social development is noticeable to her all possible networks. She is having such an incredible feeling to work as social activist so that she utilizes her 40 percent of time for this only.
