Dr. Md. M. Islam Bulbul likes to introduce himself as young proactive Public Health Specialist working in Global Health and Health System arena. He has completed his MPH from James P. Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University and MBBS from Mymensingh Medical College.
Since his medical school life, he always had a keen interest in health science research, leadership and social work. During his Public health Course, he was interested to work in Health System and Global Health. To fulfill his desire he joined in Health System Strengthening and Global Health Cell under Directorate General of Health Services. Here he is involved in Project management, Country capacity building and Conducting Researches in different field especially in Health System, Global Health, Women’s and Children’s Health and Non-communicable diseases.
Dr. Bulbul has proficient knowledge qualitative research in different fields of areas. He has conducted good numbers of researches and gained extensive field experiences. Currently he is involved in developing innovative tools for Health System Strengthening. He is developing software on Monitoring and Evaluation of HSS activities and started to work with Commission on Information and Accountability (COIA) for Women and Children’s Health a WHO Programme.
He himself is a founder as well as advisor of different voluntary organization within the country. He is also involving as a delegate from Bangladesh with different international alliance group those who are working in Public Health Research and Health Policy areas of NCDs, Nutrition, Global Health, Maternal and Child Health.
